Some have asked what our off-grid storage looks like…well here it is! We’ve been working on a giant box to insulate our solar batteries for winter and finally got it built. It is supposed to snow tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes! Our solar batteries need to stay above 32 degrees, so we are hoping this does the trick. Once a month I shop in bulk and stock up on essentials and we get regular drinking water deliveries to our mailbox 4 miles away. This shipping container is how I combine my tiny living + off grid prepper personalities in one haha. Living for so long in the wild has taught me it’s so important to have enough drinking water, food, and supplies for anything because you literally never know what is going to happen. And 2020 has taken this to the next level too. Anyone else love feeling prepped and organized?
