December 8th, 2020– Vision + Thoughts

Dedicate yourself to your VISION and watch how your life changes. Make new daily choices about who you ARE and eventually your reality will change.

It’s no surprise to share I’ve been up and down about our home construction project. Every time I thought we pushed hard enough, researched thoroughly enough, sacrificed our lifestyle enough to pay $5k for an engineering stamp here, and $3k for another engineering stamp there, apply for permits, get them granted and hold onto the hope of “finally now we can begin construction” only to learn of several more steps to complete first—it’s not easy. It’s the sprinting to the finish line of several back to back marathons truly believing you are done and can rest, only to be told you have a few more marathons to go first. It gets discouraging.

But all my life, I’ve been faced with challenges. And as time continues to pass, I’ve realized these challenges were never negative. They were GIFTS to help me wake up in my potential, spiritual growth and passions. The only negativity was my perception of what I was going through.

Our home construction project is no different. Everything is what it is. It’s not negative.

It’s not negative to experience pre-build and planning and have that process take years. It’s not negative to learn the cost of things and choose to say yes, even if it means living tiny for years and getting highly creative with finances. It’s not negative to have things wear out, break down and need replacement after years of full time use. After all, it was YEARS of full time use, right?

One thing I’ve learned in this journey I call life is whatever I think about the most, appears like magic. I’m really good at it for both good and bad.

And this year we call 2020 has been one where I’ve manifested things that haven’t served me. I’ve chosen to look through the lens of “I’m burning out”, “I’m tried”, “this is such a massive project”, “I’m too young!!“, “Wow we need to quadruple our budget and then double that number,” “Who am I to lead this?”, “Who am I to create this?” ETC.

But the truth is… I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t qualified. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t ready. I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t in the right place at the right time.

The universe has my back—and has all of our backs. We are all more than qualified for whatever vision we were put on this planet to carry out. It’s that vision that when we choose to follow it—has the power to influence and change the world.

Perspective is powerful. It’s important to remember that everything is neutral and to not taint neutrality with negativity.

The more we choose to say yes to the version of us that inspired our action, the more we can meet the version of ourselves capable of completing the vision. And when it’s reality, enjoy the person we’ve become through the process. The person we all already are right now—just waiting to be lived in everyday. 💗☀️
