Captains Log: City to Gritty
Progress today on the land! During our soils tests prep—WE STRUCK WATER!! I can hardly believe it. That means it will be very easy to drill a well!!! ?✨? And a little trickier to pour a foundation. At this point, I’m totally willing to scratch the basement altogether if push comes to shove. Maybe use that budget to create a garage into the mountain?!
But, we’ve hired a great GC. I’m sure he can figure out a basement even with hitting water exactly where we will be wanting to pour cement—right?
